The primary level sees the beginning of a formal approach to school. The basic academic subjects of Math, English, Urdu, Environmental Studies / Social Studies, together with Computer Studies, Religion, Art, Music, Library and Physical Education, provide a rich and stimulating curriculum.
Teaching methodology includes: individual instruction, whole class instruction and group and partner activities. Acquiring the right study habits and mastering basic academic skills are the focus in these intermediate years. Children who have the ability and motivation to work at a faster pace in a subject area are encouraged and challenged to do so. On the other hand, children who proceed at a slower pace have the opportunity to work at their own level and experience success.
At Elementary school, activity is rarely limited to one aspect of learning. The aim is to integrate the acquisition of skills through devising stimulating and varied activities that involve teachers and children doing things together. Children are made to discover in this way that learning is enjoyable as well as rewarding.
